You read that correctly! It’s planned that an open demo of how to make chain mail (the armor kind, not the propagating message kind) will take place at the meeting this week! A regular meeting attendee informs us that if you bring two pairs of needle-nose pliers you will be welcome to join in and do some linking of rings yourself, other necessary materials will be provided to you.
